tHE aRT OF dOGS - ART PRIZE 2020
Creators Artspace Inc inaugural community art show will take place in conjunction with the Upstream 2020 Festival 7- 10 March 2020.
Exhibitors are asked to submit works which celebrate the canine companions in our lives.
This will be a seriously fun event and we hope your entries reflect this.
All community members who are involved in arts and crafts are encouraged to enter.
The exhibition will be held 7 – 9 March 2020. Selected works will remain on display in Creators Artspace Gallery
until 20 March 2020.
Entries are now open in the following categories:
· ARCHIE BOY – Works on paper and canvas Any medium including but not limited to print, paint, pastel, pencil.
Voucher $150 from La Maison Cafe
· Best Bitzer – Photography Digital, traditional, experimental
Voucher $150 Camera House Albury
· Open Dog - 3D/Mixed Media Any medium
Voucher $150 from Commercial Club Albury
BEST OF SHOW will be awarded to the most outstanding work on display. All works are eligible for this prize. Cash prize $100 sponsored by Finer Frames Wodonga
The Art of Dogs exhibition will be held at Creators Artspace Gallery (and other locations in Gateway Village) in conjunction with the Upstream 2020/20 Festival in Albury Wodonga in 7 -10 March 2020. The exhibition will run from Saturday 7th March to Monday 10th March (10 am – 4 pm on Friday and Saturday, 10 am – 3.30 pm Monday) with the official opening starting on Sat 7 March 2020. (time and special guest still to be finalised)

Works submitted should reflect canine companions in our lives.
All Entries will be hung/installed at Creators Artspace Gallery and other spaces in Gateway Village between 7 March – 9 March 2020. Selected works will remain on exhibition until 20 March 2020.
Entry fee – $10 per work. MAXIMIMUM OF 3 works. Max size 30 x 40 cm plus frame.

A diptych/triptych is one entry and should be priced as one entry. If you would like to price each work individually, they must be entered as separate works.
All work must be presented ready for display, labelled with Name, Contact, Title and Price of work on the back. Suitable display equipment for sculptural work is to be provided by the artist.
Entries must be the original work of the exhibitor, completed in the last two (2) years.
Works must be presented for sale to the public at the price stated on the entry form.
Works may be photographed by organisers and local media for promotional purposes, including marketing material.
Organisers reserve the right not to hang work if deemed unsuitable or not appropriately presented for display. This includes unframed/poorly framed or inappropriately strung works.
Fully completed entry forms and exhibition fees must be received by 5 pm Friday February 20, 2019. Entry is via online portal noted above. Late entries will not be accepted.
Creators Artspace will be open to receive works on Sunday 1 March and Monday 2nd March 2020 between 9am and 5pm. Please make arrangements for your work to be delivered during this time. Freight deliveries of artwork can also be made during this time.
Personal collection of unsold works (excluding those invited to remain on exhibition) must be from Creators Artspace between 4.00 – 5.30 pm on Monday March 10th or Tuesday 11th March between 9am and 3pm.
UNCOLLECTED WORK CANNOT BE STORED. Please adhere to delivery and collection times as any uncollected works will be disposed of at the discretion of the organisers.
Transport for delivery or collection of artwork and any insurance costs are the responsibility of the artist. All possible care is taken with your work but the organisers accept no liability for lost or damaged works.
A commission of 20% will be retained by the organisers on all work sold. The balance will be forwarded to the artist by cheque or EFT within 30 days.
